Safety Video

Hey guys, this is sometime that I've wanted to do for a while. It is a basic safety video that goes over the fundamentals of safety when it comes to chemistry.

I am not charging Patrons for it because it will be going on my NileBlue video and I felt it didn't make sense to charge for it.

Aerogel

First attempt to make aerogel. I somehow ran out of liquid CO2 right before the supercritical step, so it had to be done way too quickly and with too little co2. This caused a lot of cracking, but it did work. Over the next few weeks, I'm going to make a few more. With a fresh co2 tank I should be able to make one that is almost crack free.

Project Update

For a new project I'm currently working on, I had to make a homemade CO2 canister that can be charged with dry ice.

Edit: It is made entirely of high pressure 316 stainless steel and is rated to take pressures that are way higher than CO2. I was planning to empty it within an hour after filling it and so I didnt think i needed a pressure relief valve. There would be no reason for it to ev...
