It's Armistice/Remembrance/Veterans/Singles Day and a day off! I set this render up and did my usual weekend hike this frosty morning while it cooked. I'll probably drop a few more treats here and on Twitter throughout the day, but I'm mostly focusing on tutorials and seeing if I can get faster render times swapping video cards from my mostly unused HP 3130.

There was a severe windstorm last night, brought down a huge tree and power lines right by my car. Power has just been restored but crews have yet to put wires back up. I'm so glad my ride is intact, but my morning plans are out of whack. Renders will be delayed.

Thank you for pledging! Seems like it was just a few weeks ago that I had to have my windows wide open all night to keep things below 25C, and the sun was still up at 7pm. Well, it was more like several weeks ago, it's only 10C out now and dark by 6pm. No complaints, apart from being weary of setting my clocks back and forth every year.

Top 10 Preview
Lots of great experimentation today. I'm surprised this 10-character scene didn't take down my PC, but the test renders came along just fine, even at subdivision level 2 on all figures.

Rediscovered Characters From 2018
The first character I named Mune-chan was created in the same evening as Patti Pudge (2nd pic) and ChubbyChan, who was the only one to be developed further. Mune-chan was inspired by Auctus177's characters, and Patti Pudge was an experiment in a "fat n' flat" design.
I'm reviewing old scenes for inspiration and may post more stuff if I find anything else of interest.
