Another odds & ends Sunday
Hey all, hope you've had a great weekend!
Today has been a variety of tasks for me, including folding all the boxes for the chocolate covered strawberry sets - there are a couple different colors since the ones i bought last year weren't available. I also dipped some real strawberries for pictures, took said pictures, and then mixed up some scents for the valentines and february patreon...
February Ditto Plush Reveal!
February's ditto plush is the red velvet cinnamon roll ditto! he is made from mochi with purple & pink sprinkle frosting! the sprinkles are random, so every ditto is unique. he can be red velvet scented upon request!
i was inspired by a valentine's day bakeoff at my office in 2020 right before everyone began to WFH due to covid - someone brought in red velvet cinnamon...

Happy Friday! Today I'm doing shop prep for my valentines day drop! I got shipping confirmation for the color corrected pins today which i am VERY relieved about đ somehow i planned 4 months ahead for valentines day pins but my manus are still making me come down to the wire!! So once the package moves a bit ill set the drop date in stone but we're still looking at jan 28 at 1pm EST!

Finishing valentines day dittos & more!
Today i finished up the embroidery for the white chocolate dittos and made a few more vday sugar cookies!
I also visited a local Madeira embroidery thread warehouse for the first time and picked up some thread and a beautiful color guide đ¤Š
I also started an ITH pattern that I'll be releasing to $5 tips & tutorials and higher patrons in february! đ

Inventory day 2 & looking back at 2022
today i've been doing inventory again! as i was looking back to double check all the fabrics i used, i decided to make my 2022 summary of art!
i'm so happy i was able to be so productive this year and complete a project every month, not including all the dittos in between everything!
i think it's important to take a moment to look back and see what you've accomplished - or look forw...

Its inventory time over here at my sewing room đĢ since I'm a registered business i have to record how much of every material i used for tax purposes which requires measuring every cut of fabric i have, and all of these boxes are stuffed to the brim with fabric.. and that's not all of it, either!! So, it takes a long time to say the least đ

Back to work today on the cowboy dittos since i finally received the fabric (also snuck in a couple vday sugar cookie dittos before they arrived)..
But OMG today was the most frustrating day! I'm quickly learning how much of a diva my new machine is - i had about every issue related to embroidery possible today when trying to stitch out these cowboys. ...

Spent all day playing with my new machine! đ since I'm still waiting on the fabric for the cowboy dittos i stitched out some of last year's valentines day dittos that will be returning, and started designing the february patreon ditto plush reward as well!
I'll be recording a mini tutorial on how to sew donut shapes when i finish sewing the donut plush since that process seems impossible ...

Yep, i hyperfixated on upgrading and ordered her about a week ago. Its a major upgrade for me from a 5x7 hoop area to an 8x14!! đŗ
