What to do about Patreon for the time being.

Put briefly, I can't put in the same effort for Wayfared I have been. My hope has always been by keeping consistent with updates it would eventually gain traction and I could hire help to make the process easier and focus more on just making art. This isn't how things have gone and right now I can't justify keeping up that same amount of work.

forgot February is the shortest month

The plan was to have this update out by the end of the month, but i just remembered February is 3 days shorter than the rest of the months. So probably first few days of march just to be safe. its mostly done, just finishing this scenes art, then gotta test everything. out.

update will be out in feburary

not giving an exact date, but i am confident enough to say itll be in February. If I rushed I could maybe get it out by end of January, but I'd rather do things right.

Ill keep the payments off still till then. But wanted to let those of you whove stuck by  know whats up. And that I appreciate what youve contributed. Thank you.

Pausing payment, Update with more next month

I've got all the flat and colouring down for this updates scene, but with the shading needed still then putting it in game. It's gonna be late no matter how I much I push it. So instead of rushing through it. I'm pausing the payment for the upcoming month, and gonna pick things back up the next month.

0.33 Patch

For those of you supporting on here this patch mightn't matter since it's meant to fix an early game bug that occurred from remaking an old map area. However I did update one specific enemy to have unique art (crate mimic) and updated a few npcs to fix some minor bugs. It's here either way.

Incase of delay

Working on the art for the scene this update. been busy irl so havent had as much free time to get it done. I'm hoping to have it out on time, making this incase its a few days late so you know why.

Finishing off the first round of dates with the orc companions date. Added a preview of an alt body type for the player character you can access via a cheatfire place. Also now all the party members can be renamed if you desire.  A bunch of minor changes too. As always, thank you for supporting.

Why do you support Wayfared?

The game has a good bit of content now, but it's really not grown much audience wise. I need to change that if I'm gonna continue investing the time I am. I'd like to ask what about the game made you decide to support it. I'm hoping it'll clue me in on what I need to improve on to help this thing grow.

Party Member date/scene or new character scene

I've been busy for a long time expanding the games world and adding characters. I think it might be nice to finally give the party members a bit more focus. And with the house built now I can think of a few ways to add some love for them. But that would be at the cost of a different scene I was considering. Being a one man dev is nice but hard at other times. But yeah, wanna gauge it a bit.

There was a bug softlocking new games. So if you're a new player please add this patch. If you aren't new or wanting to start over atm then this isn't a vital patch.

Expect update tommorrow or the 1st

I'm doing final bits for update, have to test it out after that. I'm hoping to have it up tomorrow to round the month off. But if not it'll be on the 1st. I haven't posted any news since early January, so figured a status report was in order.  So see you very soon with another post!

Some work and info

Late last year some relatives got sick, and shortly passed away. One was my mother, and going through that has been very hard. I paused the patron for two months and took some time off. I've slowly started working back on game elements. When it and I am ready, I'm gonna jump back in full speed and keep creating and hopefully making something people really enjoy. Pausing Patron

I was ill, and as soon as I improved a relatives health has gotten worse. At first I could get some work on the game done, but as of now I need to focus on them. So I've paused the patron for the time being. If they improve soon I'll still try and get the update soon and pick things back up from there. Sorry for this, hope to be back soon with good news.

Minor Sickness

Spent the last week pretty rough sick in bed, trying to get through whatever the heck I caught. I already mentioned elsewhere but I'll say it here too. Fishing Minigame Choice

Recently thanks to making more here on patron, I was able to bring a friend in to help me get some smaller things done in the background. One of those things was a fishing minigame. It works and would add more to the world however the plugin we're using requires a new save game. Meaning if we put it in, its going to break all old saves. So I want to see what you'd prefer.
