I sometimes think back to how I used to react when people approached me on the street to get to know me. π I've come to the conclusion that it all depends on the situation and the person themselves.
Itβs important to remember that:
* I value my personal space. π If I'm not comfortable, I'll politely decline to get to know them better.
* Iβm not afraid to say βno.β πͺ If I donβt like how someoneβs engaging me in a conversation, Iβm not afraid to stop the interaction.
* I listen and observe carefully. π§ I assess the personβs behavior, their words, and gestures. This helps me determine if they are safe or not.
* Iβm not afraid to ask for help. π If Iβm not comfortable, Iβll turn to passersby or the police.
But if a person is polite, confident and not trying to push their way in, Iβm open to getting to know them. π
What would I do if a man approached me on the street?
* I would smile at him and politely say βhello.β π
* I would ask him a few questions to get to know him better. π
* If I liked him, I would suggest meeting up somewhere else. β¨
But in any situation, I would try to feel confident and not be afraid to say βno.β πͺ
