Greetings and salutations! This month I realized that my original icon commission page over on Dreamwidth was first posted 10 years ago, so of course that called for a sale — which accounts for the majority of finished non-furry art this month. 10 years of drawing icons for the RPers of Dreamwidth! Phew, that's a lot of icons. (For any supporters reading this not familiar with this phenomena, these are 100x100 pixel userpics uploaded to an RP account, meant to show off the characters' various expressions and posted appropriately alongside in-character comments/RP posts. That's what I've drawn when I post a sheet of 3-15 bust drawings of the same character.)

It's been a good decade! I have to admit that doing these for so long has made me feel pretty confident in conveying expressions, as well as drawing the same character in a consistent way. It also familiarized me with the whole commission process and really helped me fine tune my business model. So, thanks Dreamwidth RPers! Here's to another 10 years.

The only other news is that I moved my work station into a quieter area of the house, and wow the difference in my focus was instant and rewarding! It had been getting increasingly difficult to work, but this little change just turned everything around. I feel much better now, and like I might finally be closing in on some of the project goals I've dreamed up over the last year of not focusing very well. I'm just about caught up on regular work with this new superpower of mine, so we'll see what the future holds >:3
