Metroid Dread Samus WIP#1 : shoe base

Started with a pair of thrifted shoes I found on Vinted. Then added pieces of foam here and there to create the details and accurate shape ! Some are looking weird because I can't glue them until they're painted !
I'm also planning on adding LEDs, I left room for it. I'm just waiting for a shipment to start on it ! The green part piece is removable so I can have an easy access to the batteries.
Next step is the shin guards, knee and thigh armor. I don't know yet if I'll do separate tutorials or just make one for the entire legs !
Since the paint job is pretty similar all over the costume, I'm thinking I'll do it at the very end ? And do a painting tutorial booklet instead of repeating myself in every tutorials. Also it's easier for me to do all at once just so I can have all the methods and color in mind and stay consistent!
