Lovehammer - The Rulebook

It's been a long time since I posted on here.

I have begun working on a rulebook for Lovehammer that will allow people to run their own games of Lovehammer. It's in the very early stages right now, but I thought it would be good to share what I've got so far to give you an idea of what it will look like.

The ultimate goal will be for someone to be able to sit down and randomly generate themselves a full blown Lovehammer mission. Enemies and encounters will be randomised, so you won't know what your squad are going to face. You could find yourselves being assigned to protect a convoy, only to be ambushed by completely overwhelming odds that necessitate a retreat.

Each enemy will have their own dedicated page, just like a 40k Codex. It will list their special rules, their weapons, their special attacks, and their finishing moves.

The Rulebook will also have multiple short erotic stories written throughout it, demonstrating how the rules work in practice. A couple of these are already complete.

I'm beginning with a fairly streamlined enemy list that solely focuses on ten variants of the Tyranids. Once I've got them all introduced and balanced I'm going to add a few more Tyranids before moving on to other factions, such as the Orks and Death Guard. At the minute only Hormagaunts and Termagaunts are complete.

The Rulebook is open to suggestions and I've turned editing on for the online document. If you think an idea is shit, let me know. If you think something would work better done a different way, feel free to suggest it!

And, as promised, all Lovehammer content is free and doesn't get charged on Patreon. This includes the Rulebook. The final version will be released on here for everyone to enjoy!
