The Carmine Cheerleader - Issue #6 Progress Report and Rules Design

Hi everyone,

I'm now up to 16,039 words of smut for Issue #6. I'm probably going to split this Mega-issue up into 2-3 chapters of around 25'000 words each when I upload it to Hentai Foundry. I think one more trap/enemy and I'll be able to upload the first part fairly soonish

The current progress of the chapter is roughly as follows.

Introduction - 100% Complete.
Lewd Traps:
Trap 1 - 80% Complete (Just need to rewrite a bit to improve it.)
Trap 2 - 0%
Trap 3 - 0%
Trap 4- 0%
Trap 5 - 95% Complete (The final 5% depends on how you decide certain rules work! below)
Trap 6- 0%
Animatronic Encounters:
1 - 0%
2 - 0%
3 - 0%
4 - 0%
5 - 0%

Negative Status Effects Rules Suggestions:
At the minute you've seen one of the negative status effects that can be gained from the Sensitivity Table - Ahegao.

Ahegao has the following rule: All tests are 20% more difficult for Madison until she recovers. She can recover by passing a 50+ recovery test. This recovery test is NOT modified by the Ahegao penalty.

However, I now need to design the rules for a couple more - Mindbreak and Pleasureslut.

I was thinking that Mindbreak makes any intelligence/hypnosis resistance etc. tests 35% harder, and requires a 75+ recovery test to remove.

As for Pleasureslut, I was thinking that it causes Madison to roll a 60+ resistance test each turn. If she fails she actively helps the enemy/trap for that turn. She can get rid of Pleasureslut by rolling 85+ on her resistance test.

What do you guys think? Any better suggestions for Mindbreak or Pleasuresluts' rules? Or ways you think it could be improved?

I think it might be better instead of making the check very hard to make them multi-stage with lessening penalties but that are not so hard to drop the level of, or do the % thing so it's not so much a question of IF but WHEN it will wear off (similar to how you did the finishing moves of lovehammer) or by reducing the difficulty when the roll is close to success. which prevents a single move or status effect completely defeating the protag (ofcourse, their situation will hardly be favorable) due to consistently failing the recovery turn after turn. That said, I'm assuming that outcome ISN'T the objective- after all we WANT to see the protag get fucked a little. On the other hand if them throwing off a status immediately is a possibility you want to avoid while keeping the significance of the difficulty to throw off I hope I've given you some ideas. As far as what the statuses do, I think you're on solid steps. Ahegao makes it hard to focus on anything, mindbreak damages their ability to think straight, and pleasureslut outright interferes with their ability to retain their original goals beyond getting dicked.

Possibilities for Mindbreak: In situations where she is not required to make a int/hypno check, have her make a somewhat easy int check, failing causes the girl to make a stupid decision they would otherwise not do. Possibilities for PleasureSlut: Just to not Immediately break a girl that gets pleasureslut, maybe have her only make the check if she fails the normal pleasure resistance. Otherwise, if we're really leaning into her breaking herself, make her roll whenever she could imagine getting in a "saucy" situation and if she fails she will do whatever she can to get into that position, everything from making sure she can't escape by herself and all that jazz.
