Wow!! What a rollercoaster
Added 2025-05-09 14:00:12 +0000 UTCA one day convention immediately following the most intense first-week imaginable, a single day off to recuperate, and then back into the fray! Only to get the boot after working in overdrive to learn the ins and outs of the job?? An insane whirlwind.
Honestly, despite being desperate for money right now, I know that I dodged a bullet. From day 1 at that job I kept hearing whispers about how bad that boss was to work for and it all proved to be true. Working for her long term would've broken me, but also, would it have been so much to ask to work juuuuust long enough to cover a month's expenses??
Ah well. We continue on. Surely I can find a large W lying around here somewhere.

2025-05-09 16:59:25 +0000 UTCYeah, it was such a terrible way to end things. I will say that job rights tend to not be this bad in my state, but for whatever reason there's an exception made for people hired on as contractors.
