You know that very relatable experience when you date someone and you're both completely convinced, due to a wild miscommunication, that the other person only wants to keep it casual so you both pretend to be totally cool and chill about the whole thing despite being very into each other and only find out that's what happened when it abruptly had to end due to the other person's life completely falling apart all at once despite neither of you wanting it to end, but you're not far enough into dating where it makes any sense at all to continue when there's no telling how long until things will stabilize in his life and then need to meet up multiple times afterward to unpack how the hell any of this even happened?
Yeah haha me neither, that'd be crazy.
Tried using a larger sketchbook this week to see how it'd feel to do things a lil less tiny n cramped and while I liked the idea conceptually, I wasn't a fan in the end. I just ended up getting a bit too lost in the weeds and it caused things to take longer than it should. Gonna go back to the basics.
Also: Staple Expo in Austin, Texas was a blast! Highly recommend checking it out in the future to anyone remotely in the area. It was such a treat meeting so many lovely readers. :)
