Update 07/01/2024: Completing Transcripts and the Year 2024

Hello Everyone,

First of all, I want to thank you all once again for your patience and generosity, it's all thanks to you that I can do this…

And I did it! :)

The rough draft of Transcripts is done! All major story beats have been written down and now just needs the editing and polishing up. It took me a fair few days to decompress after cramming in the last three chapters before the end of the year (no small feat during the holidays!) and have been thinking about the next phases in my writing journey. So! I decided to make a list:

1. Edit books 4&5.
2. Get Scrivener and format ebooks/epub properly (I haven't forgotten the formatting errors in book 3 I will get to it!)
3. Post on Reddit/Royal Road (and clean up links)
4. Get the website up and running again (make online shop available)
5. Start compiling fan-book
6. Finish short story compilation (shitposts and spaceships)

There’s a bit more but these are the most pressing I think and they won't all be in order, that being said I still will be working on The Namegiver saga while the rest is happening in the background.

The namegiver saga will be formatted differently than transcripts, focusing on smaller arcs and a quicker pace, so I'll be doing my best to plot point out the stories before I start and post them here.

while I'm thinking of it now, if there are any major changes you want to be made or you think I may have forgotten, feel free to speak up! I have forgotten more about my story than I have written so having a second or tenth pair of eyes is always helpful!

It is currently school holidays here down under, but Lil Squigs will be going to school full time when term 1 begins, which, hopefully, will give me some much-needed time to return to a more consistent schedule. Baby Squigs is still a handful but he is easier to entertain and naps lol. I want to return to a consistent schedule, last year really threw me off, but when we all return to the ‘normal’ routine I think I'll be able to get back to the wordsmithing.

Okay, I better finish it up here otherwise I’ll start project spiralling and never complete anything. See you all in the next update!
