Update 26/07/23: Good News Everyone!

TLDR: lil Squigs has started school so I'm getting between 12- 18 hours a week to write again, hoping this leads to more regular posting and getting to the backlog of site maintenance even after the new baby arrives.

Hello and yes, you read that correctly, I have some actually good news to report! 

For those of you who are new, welcome, and I'm sorry you subbed during a rather turbulent time in my writing career. I, once upon a time, used to post with scary regularity and stuck to my posting schedule religiously. but, as with all things, life's circumstances changed and I had to change and prioritise what I could and couldn't do regarding writing and posting.

Well, I'm posting this update that life has changed once again and this time it may be for the better.

Little Squigs has started school! Which means I will soon have a lot more free time on my hands to write. I didn't want to say anything until she was properly enrolled and her first day went smoothly, but I'll be gaining more productive time now that I am not looking after her 16 hours a day. 

She has 2-3 full days a week, so between 12 and 18 hours where I can be more productive on my writing and not lose any time with my family. Which is about what I had when my husband had overnight shift work and I would write late at night to get the chapters out on time.

and with more time means I'll finally be able to clean up the Patreon/Reddit/RoyalRoad sites and the formatting for the latest book. (I didn't forget or ignore I just never had the time to focus on it before now!) I'm really looking forward to polishing up the presentation of everything.

I do want to add that, yes, I'm aware of being very optimistic about my time commitments when I've also got a new baby on the way (due in September!) but the needs of a newborn are vastly different to that of an autistic preschooler so I'm going to stay positive.
