Akai just updated their budget Ableton Live controllers APC Mini and APC Key 25 with color pads, a note and drum mode for the Mini, and a few odds and ends here and there. All the details are in the video - if you're looking for a budget starter controller for Ableton Live, these are well worth a look!

I don't remember if I mentioned it but yet it comes with a license to Ableton Live Lite
2023-01-12 19:16:57 +0000 UTCDid you mention if these devices come with a download license for the “basic” version of Ableton’s software? They provide that with a lot of “beginner” gear. It was a good way for me to see if their software was a “good fit” for me. It would be nice if other software companies would map these controllers.
