May 2022 Book Update! How to build an ever-evolving matrix setup

Dear Waveshapers!

I hope you found just the right sequencer/groovebox/sequencer/effects/daw/dawless setup that enables you to be creative and make music with a simple setup.

But if you haven't, and I know I've not, then this month's update may help. For quite some time I've been trying to create the "perfect" setup, which of course doesn't exist. So, instead, I went on a mission to create the most modular (non eurorack) setup/system I could put together.

One that's built in a way where I could easily change MIDI and audio routings based on which parts of the setup I needed, without having to re-wire the setup for each set of instruments I wanted to use.

The result is this month's book update - with a chapter dedicated to tips and learnings from an attempt to build a totally flexible, ever-evolving music instrument setup using matrix audio and MIDI tools.

In the next few days I'll also release a companion video to this update on the channel, but you have a sneak peak at what's coming attached.

Other news in this update:
