Syntakt is the third "takt" from Elektron and this time the focus (or lack thereof!) is a bit of almost every form of synthesis out there - 8 digital machines include percussion, FM, virtual analog, physical modeling, bit crushing and 4 analog machines include a dual vco, cymbal and a host of percussion machines, and an analog fx block to warm things up.
Also new are trig modifiers and a folded scale option - things we've seen various versions of on other grooveboxes.

I'll be putting together a small sample pack with a few of its sounds and sharing it soon so you can get a taste of it in person - meanwhile attached is a download with playback of all its 32 factory patterns.

Thanks! No post-processing at all except normalization on the samples
2022-04-23 19:44:21 +0000 UTCThe syntakt sounds really good. I take it there is no post processing going on? Seriously tempted. The multiple engines remind me of the Nord G2 and arturia origin Modular systems or the OPZ. All that’s Missing is the märtackt device to complete the set. A good level headed review, as always.
