Among a subset of streamers, the indie horror game "Voices of the Void" provides nearly endless entertainment. But is there anything substantial to sink your teeth into, or is it just more "streamer bait"?
The long and short of it is that I don't think everything has to be a full video. I still want to write articles, and sometimes I play a game on my own time, it's very long, and it would take prohibitively long to replay the game in order to get footage. And then there's also the simple fact that I have to be real about the wants and needs about my audience and what they are willing to watch. I've already had certain videos bomb because they were "outside of my wheelhouse." If I want to create something but keep production value manageable, this is a good way to do it.
Also, in the case of Voices of the Void, there's also the chaotic element, too. If I didn't get video of it when it happened as it was happening, I may not be able to get video of it again a second time. So, here we are.

Wolfeni has shared their original Voices of the Void songs on their Newgrounds account.
Like with the Mother 3 podcast, I am attaching whatever I "made" for this podcast. This includes the two MIDIs I converted to MP3 (both from my fangames, The Darkness) as well as three ambient tracks I created by slowing down and adding reverb to tracks from other games. I think what I've done to those three tracks is pretty transformative and barely recognizable as their original songs (for better or mostly worse), so I don't think there's much of an issue including them here.
