Lot of questions are starting to mount about the upcoming Frontiers DLC. I actually have another one I did not answer in this batch because it literally just came in ten minutes ago and it's 4:30am.

Ever since the Storybook titles and Chronicles, I always wanted Sonic games to have motion cómic cutscenes. It's pretty, its effective, and is much better than the "standing around and talk" cutscenes we got since Unleashed (tho it started in Adventure 1).

Even if Ian Flynn now retcons that in in some supplemental material, it'll still be a posthoc retcon.

What do you think does it take for a franchise to have strong and dedicated fan base that try their best to push the boundaries of the franchise?

Like Star trek, Star wars, Doom and Sonic are defined by their dedicated and involved fan base, that have communities of artists and engineers trying their best to expand on different aspects of these franchises that not even the original artists intended too. 

Personally I think a part of it is because the companies are not too protective of these ips.
