December 2021 update: Envelopes - the spice of synth life!

LFOs have had a dedicated chapter in my book for a while, while envelopes only got a brief mention in the intro. Time to fix that!
Envelopes can be one of the more powerful and yet confusing aspects of synthesis: user interfaces treat time and level the same way; polarity makes them sound completely differently; sustain can seriously mess things up; ADSR can be used to create 1, 2, and 3 stage envelopes as well; where do you set the max mod depth? and on and on.
This new chapter aims to cover everything from basic to advanced topics, and will serve as a good home for any future envelope ideas. As a matter of fact, a cool idea is coming up from a synth I can't yet talk about for a few more days...
Hopefully, it will inspire you to explore at least one new aspect of envelopes next time you synth :)

I tried converting the PDF in Calibre 4, and the results were not satisfactory. (Personally, I'm happy with the current well laid out PDF with its Table of Contents.)
