While at NAMM I stopped by the Akai booth and asked for an in depth interview about Force, and I was happy to have the team there oblige. Demos at their booth really only allowed for a superficial product pitch in quite a noisy environment, and there are enough of those...
Pete Goodliffe is Director of Product from Akai directly responsible for Force, so we've got it right from the source... and he agreed to go up to a more quiet place which would allow for a more in depth, long form interview.
This video is was edited down from over an hour long Q&A session about Force, where all questions were fair game. About a year ago I made a video comparing Push 2 to Maschine MK3, so I followed that point by point (and expanded where necessary), and the result is this video - which while isn't as good as me spending time with the unit alone, hopefully is as close as possible to that.

So - that was the last of the videos shot at NAMM, but not the last of the products announced there ;)
