At NAMM; Moog Sub 25 Review; Patreon Exclusive extended track download

Hi!

I'm at NAMM for the next 3 days checking out what's new. My goal isn't to make any videos by the way, there are plenty of people doing on booth demos, but rather to spend time getting to know the people behind the gear. If there's anything you'd like me to check out please let me know! I will be taking a camera with me just in case...

Aside from that, Moog sent over their new Subsequent 25 for review. At first I thought two octaves were too few, and that the hidden functions are too hidden, but then I listened to it... and was motivated to find a way around both the keyboard and hidden parameter limitations - more about that in the video.

As usual there's a patch ideas section - some of which may be familiar to you if you've checked out my book, and the rest will of course be added in the next update.

Attached to this post is a patreon exclusive extended version of the intro/outro jam.

All my best,

Ziv (hoping to resist temptation to post from NAMM on youtube as "Loopop"...)

Huh, didn't realize Dell was involved in NAMM. I don't think Dell is a huge vendor of ours, but it certainly is something to consider. Thanks for the tip on that!

Hi Jason, from an IT perspective take a look at Dell. Dell has participated at NAMM for several years now. If your organization invests significantly in Dell products (servers/storage, laptops, monitors etc.) you might be able to reach out to your Dell Channel Rep for ideas :) Apple has not attended NAMM in years, it nice to see other computer manufactures like Dell exhibiting at NAMM.

No, being smaller is its only superpower :)

Is there anything this synth can do that my subsequent 37 can not (besides being smaller)? I do really like the small size.

I think anyone can get in for $50 - I applied for a free media pass and got one. Re Behringer - yes, I saw the videos - I don’t have the modules to comment on them though...

My coworkers and I (we work in IT) were trying to figure out the easiest way to get eligibility to attend NAMM lol Have you had a chance to see either of the videos that Behringer (who I know isn't at NAMM) has put out about their eurorack stuff ?
