No worries! Yes, the updates are often all over the place... I've had maybe just a couple of months where only one chapter was added.

Immediately after posting the hypertext issue, I went and downloaded a new Disting 4 update/manual (because there is always a new update no matter what). It had the hypertext linking working, text in red. Now, original Internet hypertext was always blue text, underlined. That was the format back in the dial-up days and windows office apps still default to that color/formatting standard. I had clicked on both index links and a video link and got no response. But, I was unable to save the Disting 4 PDF bc I got a weird drive full error. In fact, it was a one drive alert. Somehow, all my documents, desktop and file was switched to store in the Microsoft cloud. I never turn that on, but this is a fresh install as all my computers all stopped updating Windows 10 since the Sept major update for some reason. And on the laptops, those were fresh installs and it would not even perform the first Windows update after clean reset. Took hours of CMD prompt trickery and a few days to resolve. I guess One Drive was initiated. I can't say if this limited the functionality of the PDF saved bc it did not affect the downloaded file open in browser for Expert Sleepers. But, I could save until I went through and disabled all that stuff. It works now, so It had to be on my end. Color formatting, even red font as is used in Disting Manual, does make it that much more clear the document is loaded with hypertext, but no way am I going to even nitpick anything like that. It's just a nice visual cue on top of what is already a working feature, but if you can't do a global change, I wouldn't mess with it. Now, this is my third edition of the book, as I am a new patron, but, in general, are these updates often adding pages throughout the book? I print and bind my manuals/tech guides. Obviously, Disting teaches you to be cautious printing it out as it is definitely a living document. Many times, I see I only have to print a portion near the end. There's always some redundant printing, but you usually have a page where prior, the manual is static and afterwards, the pages all need reprinting. It appears I need to keep this electronic for a long while before blowing through ink/paper. It's not a complaint as all info is welcome no matter if page one rewrite. Just wanted to get an idea from the author that updates tend to backfill or expand on contents in early chapters, perhaps if a new synth review handles a basic concept in a way that benefits redressing early chapter synthesis techniques to reflect a new innovative solution newer tech reveals. Sorry about the HTML false flag!

Hi Ken, any comments are welcome all the time! Can you please point to links that don't work for you? If this happens to you with other documents you may have a security setting active in your PDF reader. Thanks!

Thanks for the comment and support - I checked and they actually capitalize the A... made the change!

and before you get a lot of misspelled alerts, on pg 108, you may want to correctly capitalize the Israeli company VoiCas modular as there is a more popular Volca Modular, but context probably resolves that upon closer read. (voic = voice, voicas - voices, in Hebrew)

Does PDF not allow active Hypertext linkage? That would be surprising. Word/Excel Docs certainly do, but I could swear when viewing other online PDF modules, I could access hyper links rather than having to copy link and past in new tab. It's not that big of a deal to do that, of course, but the document obviously has a lot of work behind it and improvements are often solicited as far as errors and what not.
