The original René released in 2009 is Eurorack's most popular sequencer according to modular grid - so when Make Noise announced an update after close to 10 years, I was intrigued... the concept of Cartesian sequencing (jumping around a 2D grid rather than a "regular" step sequence) was René's original innovation and with Rev 2 Make Noise added a third dimension, which makes it quite a lot more interesting.
I've attached to this post the full 3 minute audio track of the jam shown in the intro and outro to this video. Please use speakers or headphones if you listen to this - the bass line is completely lost on phone speakers...
