NC4T Pickpocketing Mod

So, I made a mod.

Ever wanted your Ne'er-do-well Sims to be able to make some Simoleons by stealing from others and live off that? I did, but the pickpocketing interaction the game offers is only available with the Criminal Career, so I made a mod to unlock it for everyone instead. It comes with a few nice extras, here are the details:

NC4T Pickpocketing Mod

What it does:

• Unlocks the pickpocket interaction for everyone, instead of it being locked behind the Criminal Career and adjusts the moodlets that Sims are receiving accordingly.
• Changes the animation (for Teen-Elder) from a hug to one of two paranoid looking around animations. If the interaction is successful, the Sim will follow up with a generic pick-up animation, if it fails they will be yelled at by the target Sim.
• Removes the "need to greet" and "has met" restrictions, so that the interaction is available either from the introduction menu, or under mischief interactions. It also cancels the interaction queue after the pickpocketing interaction has been done, so that no awkward chatting will take place.
• Moves the cooldown of the pickpocketing interaction from the Actor Sim to the Target Sim, so that the interaction can be done several times in a row, just not on the same target.

• Adds a new skill to the game: Pickpocketing. Major skill with 10 Levels - the higher the skill, the higher the chances of success and money gain.
• "Master Thief" reward trait for reaching level 10.
• Custom icons for the trait, skill and interaction.

Getting the Hell Outta Dodge Update 

• When failing a pickpocket interaction the Sim will now run to safety and will be unable to pickpocket in the current area again for a while. This restriction can be removed by travelling to a different lot.

Little Thieves Update 

• Enables the pickpocket interaction and pickpocketing skill for Children with a different animation (unlocks after mastering the Motor skill).

Consequences Update 

• Your Child and Teen Sims will now receive penalties on Manners, Responsibility and Empathy; Reputation and Relationship loss have been reworked and all penalties are now adjustable via settings (see the changelog post for a how-to).
• Bystanders will now call your Sim out if they see them pickpocketing.
• Added a new cheat to remove "Caught" restrictions.

Master Thief Update 

• Master Thieves can now swipe small objects
• King/Queen of Thieves aspiration
• Charming Con Artist CAS trait: talented pickpockets with higher success chance; Con Artists have a few new interactions and are sometimes able to gain relationship points while pickpocketing
• Pickpocketing the Grim Reaper will be rewarded - or punished
• New whims, buffs and lessons

Basemental Drugs Addon 

• If you are playing with Basemental Drugs, check out my Basemental Drugs Addon too, which makes it possible to steal drugs from Drug Dealers or Consumers.

Requirements and Conflicts:

• This mod is Basegame compatible but requires Strangerville to be able to use the paranoid idle animation I chose for the interaction. However, it will still work without SV, it just won't show the first part of the animation sequence and will go straight to the pick-up animation (if successful), or being yelled at (if failed) instead.
  It is also still Basegame compatible with the pack-specific updates of the Consequences Update - if you don't have those packs installed those specific changes will simply have no effect and should not affect your game at all.
• This mod will conflict with any other mod that edits the pickpocket interaction.

Known issues:

• Frankk's awesome Language Barrier mod prevents your Sim Children from being able to pickpocket until level 5 of the TargetSim's assigned language is reached (if it's different from the Actor Sim's native language). You can use this Mod Integration Addon to ensure full compatibility.
• PolarBearSims's mod "Have Some Personality Please!" is currently overwriting the game's pickpocket interaction and therefore conflicting with my Pickpocketing Mod (it will cause my interaction to not show up)
