The 70’s were my training ground: I survived high school and college, got a low draft number and freaked out until the draft conveniently ended - and went to the movies ALL the time. Comedy is personal and I don’t love every choice here - but oh my gosh what choices there were! I guess we’ll never see the like of it again. Just taking Mel Brooks, Monty Python and Woody Allen together, that’s soooo many amazing films. The best part was listening o everyone laughing together. And what a counterpoint to the tragic ending to another season of Commissioner Predictions! Now I’m going to go watch Annie Hall for the magnificent performance of the late great Diane Keaton. Remembering all the great films that used to be made, I think longingly about Annie singing “Seems Like Old Times.”
