Oh, wow! Thanks for sharing the whole story for your peers. I had an unmedicated hospital birth with my first and it was everything you're talking about (from being told I wasn't in labor to everyone turning the damn lights on) and doing things for their convenience, rushing the placenta, trying to get me to lay down, etc, etc. I had a homebirth the second time.
