Hello you lady faggots. I’m working my way through the old episodes and I have a request: bring back Dan! And glen!!! It’s been too long since you’ve had a sinister homosexual on the pod.

2022-01-30 18:22:42 +0000 UTCI’m going from new to old episodes and just saw your comment. I love your idea!! But then again I’m also a nerd haha. I’d love to read something and follow along. All the best 🌸
2021-05-17 19:12:09 +0000 UTCI recently discovered red scare, so I'm making my way through some older episodes, and I found the caliber of Anna and Dasha's discourse in this one to be especially impressive and intriguing. So, I have an idea: it could be interesting to do a loveline-esque question format podcast every now and then that deeply engages with a text (quotations and all!!) like in this episode. Listeners could read the text ahead of time (if they care to) and send in questions or passages for Anna and Dasha to answer/deconstruct. I just wished I'd read Andrea Long Chu's work myself before listening, so I could have more easily followed the conversation and understood their criticisms. Then again, maybe most people aren't quite nerdy enough to read some academic text in preparation for listening to a podcast..haha... Anyway, I enjoyed the intellectual content in this episode a lot and I'm glad to have found the pod<3

2020-01-08 12:07:51 +0000 UTCThis episode was great. I remember reading Solonas' work in my late teens and getting super triggered because I was a dumb boy with no real analytical capability. This gave me flashbacks of my own cringe, but in a funny way. I always enjoy your takes on feminism, and I really feel the empathy you two have for everyone's position in the changing structure we all have to live in. Also from my own self interested perspective as a socially passive guy. I've been waiting for women to start propositioning me my whole life but that part of the dynamic didn't change, I still just get told off for not making a move. If women adopt more traditionally masculine roles the least they could do is follow through in all aspects and grope me or pin me to a wall once in a while. Lol
