2019-08-05 17:56:30 +0000 UTCI think the age of consent thing is less about suddenly becoming mature but more about the fact that very few people under a certain age are mature so you are protecting the vast majority of people with a law like that. It's 16 here in the UK and I think that's fairly reasonable. I was also thinking how there should be a tiered law starting from say 14 that means that you can sleep with someone two or three years older and they not face statutory rape charges

The deadline to reach the qualifications for the September debate is August 28.” MW may make it yet.
