So I'm finally back from my 18-day trip to Seoul! I've been before, but this is the first time I've gone entirely as a tourist, not business or martial-arts related stuff.
It was a lot of fun, here are some observations:
Since 2017 (the last time I visited) there's been an explosion of coffee shops, like two on every block. And most of it's actually really good!
There's also been a massive uptick in vegan restaurants, which really surprised me. Previously it had been a challenge finding vegan food in Korea.
Saw a major pro-Palestine demonstration in Gangnam, which was super cool. The locals and tourists alike were very much behind them.
I got hit on a lot by girls, especially in Hongdae, furthering the Hongdae Lesbian mythos
