#49 - The Tommy Lundberg Interview
Added 2020-06-25 23:39:27 +0000 UTCTommy Lundberg is a researcher at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. To most, he's best known as the lead author behind a study showing that ibuprofen inhibits adaptations to strength training a few years ago.
But it was his latest study titled ‘Early accentuated muscle hypertrophy is strongly associated with myonuclear accretion’ that really caught my eye. It was published in The American Journal of Physiology in May, 2020.
The results apparently shows that adding cardio to your weight training regimen can double your gains. Interesting. I decided to schedule an interview. This is the result.
