Mini-update
Added 2025-02-10 05:07:26 +0000 UTCThe climax has been broken up into three chapters, chapters 88, 89, and 90. The first two are written (total about 7000 words) and I'm 1000 words into the last one. 88 has been edited, haven't gotten 89 back yet from the editor, and I think I can finish 90 tonight after work. Once I get 90 back, I will post all at once. Hopefully by Tuesday, but that's going to depend on my editor.
For those of you keeping track at home, I expect the final word count to be about 310,000 words, plus or minus a few. To put that into perspective, the first book of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time was 310k words as well.

87 will be in there, too. That's still a little bit more pre-combat. It will be a very large drop. Got 89 back yesterday, and 90 is shaping up to be another 5k-word-plus monster of a chapter. I will either split it or release it as is. All together, expect about 17-20 thousand words of story coming very soon.
