Health Update

I feel like I've been donkey kicked in the throat, and I've spent more nights hacking and wheezing than sleeping this last week. I'm on a lot of pills that are kinda sorta working. If I could just get some good rest, I could focus my thoughts a little bit and get writing again. Had a short nap after dawn today, and I'm going to take a stab at getting something done this weekend. Thanks for the patience, everyone. I hope I'm able to reward you with a kick-ass ending here very shortly.

Oh! My wife said Greek yoghurt (active culture) well help preserve your intestinal fauna & flora which should help with side effects of prednisone.

2025-01-18 13:55:36 +0000 UTCGood to hear! I hadn't heard about using steroids to reduce inflammation, but it makes a lot of sense! The weird thing about steroids is they need to build up in the body a bit, then boom! they're really effective and you need to stop taking them! Take care, and relax.

2025-01-18 05:58:40 +0000 UTCI've been reading up on bronchitis and it can last for weeks and months. Saw some people talking about prednisone to reduce the inflammation, so that might be something I ask the doc about the next time I go in.

2025-01-18 05:37:04 +0000 UTCYep. The internal medicine clinic I went to gave me some weak ones and they were less than helpful. I went to the hospital on Thursday and got something stronger. Popping pills three times a day at the moment.
