I'm going to assume positive intent. I don't think Paizo fully understood what they were doing with the now-reversed policy. I think the fact that they didn't even realize its impact on translations shows that they thought they were putting together a license for people to monetize their work without realizing that it was going to harm more than it helped. Because I seriously doubt the lawyers got together in a room and said "well, the biggest threat to our business is character sheets that do some math, let's make sure no one can make those".

2024-08-22 19:23:10 +0000 UTCIt's true, the change to OGL on Infinite hasn't been reversed. But PF1 and SF1 content outside of Infinite is now viable again.

2024-08-22 19:19:09 +0000 UTCI was just reading the blog but haven't looked at the new/restored policy yet. This is good but I am still worried about PF1 and SF1 content that wants to monetize as The restoration of the CUP does nothing for the removal of future OGL product on Infinite.
