Nearly 8 years after the beginning of "Otamatone Covers", and almost 4 years after the introduction of "Otama Shorts", I am finally introducing and testing a new video concept to the channel. I call them: Otamatone Samplers.
Now what the heck is an Otamatone Sampler? Good question! Over the years, there have been countless songs that I haven't been able to cover, either because i didn't have the time, the song was no longer relevant, or maybe the song just wouldn't work as a full 2 minute cover. But maybe just the chorus of said song could work as a cover, or maybe people only really want to hear a specific section of that song. And that's where Otamatone Samplers come into play!
With Otamatone Samplers, I can much more quickly and efficiently put out shorter form covers that give you a taste of what a song may sound like on Otamatone. This means more frequent uploads, more fulfilled audience requests, and a wider range of song possibilities! And if a particular "sampler" performs well and enough people show interest, that song could graduate into a full Otamatone Cover!
Will Otamatone Samplers be a success? Well, that's ultimately up for you the audience to decide! But no matter what, I appreciate you all supporting me in a way that allows me to experiment with my content like this.
And don't worry. Full length Otamatone Covers and Otamatone Shorts aren't going anywhere! Just think of this as bonus content!
