Update - It's Been A Minute

So, it's good to be back to this. I was honestly hoping to be able to share something like this weeks ago, but...yeah.

If you've read my previous update you'll have known I said my Dad passed away in October and while I've been doing fine in myself day to day what I wasn't really prepared for is the way it completely killed my energy for doing things, creative or otherwise, and that's taken a little while for me to be able to get past. Knowing that I've got people here supporting me and being incredibly patient for updates has been gnawing at me a decent amount too.

What's not helped is that Chapter 15's been a little difficult for me to feel like I'm getting the tone of right. There needs to be that little emotional come down after the last Chapter, but not too boring, and with the focus being in the right places and that's been a bit of a ballache for me to work out. This section alone started having a slightly different ending that I've ended up cutting the content for to come up later because it wasn't landing right here. Cue a bunch of rewrites and reworks and sections sat waiting to be slotted in elsewhere. The upside now being that I've got a fairly strong outline of where the rest of things are headed for this chapter and should be able to thread that needle a little more easily.

While this has been going on there's been all the usual stuff behind the scenes too helping BreakTheBar and CorruptingPower herd the other writers and I've done a bunch of work done with a new prospective writer who's got another UK entry in the works that potentially skews a little closer to Averna and Gemivax than some of the other stories. Hopefully you'll enjoy getting to see it in a few weeks time once it's good to go!

As always, thanks for the support. I was honestly sort of dreading coming to post this, thinking I was going to see a slew of exit surveys saying "wasn't as active as I expected" so the fact there's so many people still around is genuinely a big boost :)

I've also had a request for an epub version, so I'll be compiling that at some point and putting them out as we go forward starting with Chapter 15. Anything else like that people would like to see, gimme a shout
