Hello everyone!
This months update is an entirely new game called "Can I walk you home?"
I'm super hyped about this one and can't wait to work on it some more. I've got plans 😈 many many plans~ *rubs hands together while cackling*
Anyway, this is a small project featuring one character. There is likely going to be no nsfw content in this project.
What I did:
- Started the project!
- Found CC0 photography on Unsplash for backgrounds!
- Edited said photography to look like art/close to
- Created a character design, many many character designs.
- Named it!
- Started writing
- Copied most effects/SFX/Ambience and Music from Love Lock/other games. it's kind of like my own personal library that keeps growing.
- Made the Textbox! Then remade it! Then remade it again xD I finally have something I think will stick but this remains to be seen.
- Made character sprites.
Statistics:
The game contains 539 dialogue blocks, containing 3,405 words and 16,947 characters, for an average of 6.3 words and 31 characters per block. The game contains 19 menus, 94 images, and 76 screens.
Comments
This is so good! I really felt torn between the feelings of "this guy is creepy" and "this guy is sweet". Now to find out if Patrick is more like Patrick Star or Patrick Bateman. (He's going to be more like Patrick Bateman XD)
