Possibly renaming ACM2, what do you guys think?
Added 2025-09-20 21:02:09 +0000 UTCLast month, I was contacted by someone from the SCP Wiki regarding the "licensing" of my Anomalous Coffee Machine games, and one of my options is "renaming" the game's title into anything but "Anomalous Coffee Machine". As much as I'd want to have the title of ACM2 stay that way, sooner or later I gotta decide. What do you guys think?

Okay looking it up, it seems the issue might be the license used by SCP Wiki, if I am understanding it correctly all works derivative of something with the Creative Commons ShareAlike license must have the same license and it cannot be a commercial product, I'd still check to make sure the person contacting you is who they claim to be but otherwise I think something like "Multiversal Coffee Machine" or swapping out the "machine" part of the title for a suitable synonymous word would be the best option.

2025-09-25 02:35:26 +0000 UTCI don't think any of the suggestions sound "catchy" or ominous enough for what the original title inferes perfectly. If you must change it, I personally think it would be best to come up with something completely new and not to hold on to the original title as much. Or maybe keep the initials ACM but change the words they stand for completely?
