Weapon (longbow), Legendary (requires attunement)
Forged from remnants left behind by Arsqualia, the Timeless Dragon, this bow is composed of fractured pieces that seem forever suspended in time. The material cannot be marked, marred, or altered by any means. Scholars of every age have failed to discern its true nature. Though its substance appears related to shards taken from Arsqualia, it behaves differently—responding to temporal shifts in ways no known relic can. Its presence alone distorts the records of history, causing written and remembered accounts of it to subtly change seemingly at random.
The Grand Library is the only institution that has managed to notice these alterations. The relic's singularity effect, like Arsqualia’s own, cannot touch the records preserved within the Lore Mistress’s Enlightened Hall. A curator studying cross-referenced archives between the Library and the Hall first discovered the discrepancies, prompting the Lore Mistress to dedicate a special vault to documenting every change in the relic’s recorded past. Over time, a pattern emerged: the relic’s history shifts whenever Arsqualia itself moves through time. Thus, the bow has become both a mystery and a measure—a tool through which the scholars of the Grand Library now track the Timeless Dragon’s movements across the ages. According to the latest record, the weapon was first shaped into a bow by a disciple of the Lady of the Raven during the Lahanagis Grand Empire and later unearthed by the Archive from the ruins of the City of Crescent Moon, Bhagasi.

You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. When you fire it, the bow conjures a magical arrow from an alternate timeline, which vanishes after it hits or misses a target.
Temporal Echo. As a bonus action, you can make one ranged weapon attack with this bow. This attack uses your normal attack and damage modifiers but deals force damage instead of piercing damage, as you summon an echo of yourself from another timeline to loose an arrow in unison.
Chronal Charge. The bow can store up to 12 charges. When you roll initiative, it regains 1d6 charges, and you add that number to your initiative roll. In addition, whenever you roll a natural 20 on an attack roll made with this weapon or on a saving throw while holding it during combat, the bow gains 1 charge (up to its maximum).
You can expend the bow’s charges to activate the following abilities:
Temporal Slip. When you take damage, you can use your reaction and expend 2 charges to leap forward in time. You vanish instantly, negating the damage. While vanished, you can’t take actions or reactions, can’t be targeted or affected, and all durations and conditions affecting you are paused. Any grapple or similar restraint on you ends immediately. At the start of your next turn, you reappear in your space or the nearest unoccupied space as if no time had passed.
Paradox Barrage. You summon echoes of every choice you never made, each alternate self loosing an arrow along the branching paths of fate. As an action, you can expend 3 charges to make a ranged weapon attack with this bow against up to a number of creatures of your choice equal to your proficiency bonus within 60 feet. Each attack uses your normal attack and damage modifiers. On a hit, a target takes an extra 3d8 force damage, and its speed is halved until the start of your next turn. The arrows are magical and vanish after striking their targets.
Temporal Resonance. The bow synchronizes your movements across timelines, summoning one additional echo to strike with you in perfect unison. As an action, you can expend 5 charges to enter a state of heightened resonance for 1 minute. While this effect lasts, when you use Temporal Echo, you can make two attacks instead of one. You must maintain concentration on this effect as if concentrating on a spell.
Time Stop. The bow bends the flow of time, halting all motion around you. As an action, you can expend 12 charges to cast time stop from the bow without expending a spell slot. The bow provides all components and acts as a focus.
