New Video!
Added 2025-02-09 16:46:35 +0000 UTCHey there, we've decided to start putting out a Patreon exclusive video once a month. Just a little something chill for you folks :)
This first one is Wib talking about his new army, and if you have any requests for what you'd like to hear one or both of us talk about, please let us know. These videos are just for you folks after all!
If you'd prefer to watch it on YouTube, here's a link for you:
https://youtu.be/uaNgDV94skU
And, since it's been a shocking amount of time since we did something exclusive we've also put together an unlisted playlist of all the super secret Patreon videos so you can watch the back catalogue of them easier should you wish:

Anyway, hope you have a lovely rest of your weekend!

I enjoyed this a lot. One of my favourite things is seeing people's collections and armies. I'd like to see Snipe's collection of dreadnoughts, if they have one. Maybe they could round off the video by rating each one in terms of how much they would want to die it. ;) (PLEASE LET ME DIE FOR THEM!)

2025-03-12 09:46:38 +0000 UTCI don't know which is more impressive; the models, or Wib's ability to speak off the cuff like this.

2025-03-05 07:02:00 +0000 UTCAs the proud owner of a Basilisk: Great model, but honestly the gun-elevation mechanism has so many tiny tiny bits its a bit of a nightmare. The entire gun is also so devoid of the Details gw puts on everything nowadays that it feels slightly dated compared to the Chimera its bolted on. Still good, just something to maybe keep in mind What about a Hydra for the Company? 4 large-calibre autocannons seem like something grots would like. And the open-top nature would be fun to model in a little grot-crew

2025-02-18 02:06:06 +0000 UTCApologies if many have suggested this before, but World War Toons tanks made by MENG convert really well into grot style vehicles if you want a break from GW tanks.

2025-02-12 17:30:55 +0000 UTCI could literally watch you two show off your minis for hours. Conversions, old finds, favorites, most hated, most loved, squishmallows, literally anything. This is beautiful bonus content.

2025-02-11 23:14:40 +0000 UTCThis is a great format for Patreon extras. For subjects for videos, you are somewhat known as the "weird old 40K" people, but on here you could chat about other non-GW games you find interesting, without scuppering the algorithm? Or maybe do some opinion bits on the gaming landscape in general? Oh, and yeah, I do remember printing a set of those wheels to sent to your p.o.box back in the day, so those might very well have been them.

2025-02-11 20:35:55 +0000 UTCI absolutely LOVE the Gobsmasher vibes of that Russ. The old Epic ork vehicles were so much fun (see also the lifta droppa and bubble chuka) As for other topics, the only question I really want answering is this: out of all of your dreadnought models, which does Snipe think is the cutest?

2025-02-11 10:20:52 +0000 UTCI loved watching this! It was a joy to hear how excited you were about your Grot Guard. As for what could go in the new army, my immediate thought was to add a Hellhound, because one of the old Forge World kits had a little trundly trailer full of fuel behind it and that just says Grots to me. =]

2025-02-10 20:42:08 +0000 UTCIf you got some Chimera Chassis you could make a ton of swappable type to try out. Also you could also use the swapped out platforms as emplacements for terrain or scenarios.

2025-02-10 11:25:41 +0000 UTCAlways love hearing you talk on any 40K subject! For non-Warhammer, could we maybe see footage of your band? Or could you play a song for us? It was so lovely to hear Snipe sing on the Mothman video. One of my favorite moments from one of your videos.

2025-02-10 04:50:56 +0000 UTCIt's a little out there but I think a Valkyrie/Chinork with a heavily converted set of Grot Commandos would be a really fun project

2025-02-09 22:43:53 +0000 UTCI love this format a lot! I love learning about folks armies, their thought process behind how they picked it, colors ect. That much detail may be better served as a more edited thing though. As for non-40k things, I would both love to hear some of your thoughts/collections for non-40k/warhammer related games, if any, as well as just hear yall talk about things you like. I'd love to hear about how you recently got into X and you're liking it a lot, or you gushing about Y and how youve been a fan of it since it came out. little passionate videos would be my ideal for this kind of off the cuff content.

2025-02-09 22:36:43 +0000 UTCImagine a Wyvern or other artillery piece with just of the barrels having a grot head sticking out of it, human-cannoball style.

2025-02-09 19:55:03 +0000 UTCI like this format. it feels very informal and like a mate showing off their latest project. I really dig what you have so far!

2025-02-09 19:54:30 +0000 UTCI like what you did with your grot rebellion army so far. As for subjects. I would love to hear about other tabletops games you and snipe do enjoy that isn't 40k or GW related. I know you did made a few gaslands cars ,but I wanted to see what else you two been enjoying
Mike Murdock
2025-02-09 19:26:50 +0000 UTCHmmm yeah a Wyvern could be fun. Not really one I'd considered but there are absolutely possibilities there!
Snipe and Wib
2025-02-09 19:00:22 +0000 UTCWe'd absolutely be down to talk about something DnD related. Will have a think :)
Snipe and Wib
2025-02-09 18:57:19 +0000 UTCI think the Wyvern would be a fun one to add to the tank force, no idea if its good in game but you could replace the mortars with a squig catapult for some old-school grot artillery (from the rules in the index it seems a good analogue). Also you could use mek guns or that old splatta cannon as a field ordinance battery if you need to fill in points
Animetion_Rich
2025-02-09 18:57:14 +0000 UTCFor future Patreon vids it would be fun to see you do something DnD related. I recently started DMing so I’ve been a bit DnD crazy lately. Just in the last month I’ve watched the couple of videos you have about DnD at least twice each.

2025-02-09 18:47:05 +0000 UTCI was thinking of how best to integrate a Cyclops or two, and making them into some kind of bomb squig is an excellent idea, cheers! And that could be interesting... we don't get much chance to talk about music.
Snipe and Wib
2025-02-09 18:44:42 +0000 UTCThat looks like a fun army to make. A fun idea for grot-gurad could be the cyclops demotion vehicle as a bomb squig? For non-warhammer subjects that could be interesting, hearing about your musical experience could be interesting
A Swift Bass
2025-02-09 18:36:28 +0000 UTCYeah we wanted to give you folks something more as you've been so great to us :) We never shut up so this seemed like a sensible option haha
Snipe and Wib
2025-02-09 18:31:29 +0000 UTCI like that you’re doing Patreon exclusive videos now. Usually I end up not having the time to watch your videos here before they go up on YouTube.
Mr. Goufball
2025-02-09 18:28:03 +0000 UTCThat would, admittedly, most be me talking about how much I love New Vegas haha
Snipe and Wib
2025-02-09 18:22:57 +0000 UTCAt one point I did consult Snipe to decide on the funniest way to mount the wheels, we decided close together made it look like a little scamp so was the best option hah
Snipe and Wib
2025-02-09 18:22:18 +0000 UTCIt just felt right hah

2025-02-09 18:21:20 +0000 UTCI'd love opinions on the Fallout series <3 I'm a big fan of that franchise/setting.

2025-02-09 18:01:29 +0000 UTCI laughed out loud at the tank with wheels. It's wonderful. Yes to more content like this!

2025-02-09 17:33:32 +0000 UTCIt's amazing how much you change the vibe of a Russ by giving it wheels
