Today’s art is a Christmas variant of Ann Takamaki from 2021(?). I had meant to post this on or before Christmas, but I got so busy that I kind of just took a break from posting. But Christmas lights and trees are still up, so I see no reason why Ann can’t dress up in a Santa outfit!

Forgot to add that the other part I love with the BotW deku tree is that Hestu’s maracas kinda work if you put the pieces together right. Not to mention all the little Koroks that you put in and around the Deku tree. Btw, while cleaning off my shelf to make space for the deku tree, I ironically found the little Korok that came with one of my last print orders. I kinda want more of them at some point…it’s also about time for me to order more prints. Need to get one of goth Purah and one of her alternates.

In addition to the Mario kid’s line, we’ve gotten the big Bowser set, the NES replica, the giant power up block, and the Super Mario World Mario/Yoshi set. They’ve also released an Animal Crossing line and the Deku Tree blew up the internet when it was revealed. We can assume it’s probably doing numbers for them. So yeah, I think the question of more LEGO Zelda isn’t “if,” but “when.” I would DIE for a King of Red Lions and Temple of Time would also be cool And yeah I’m an OOT purist through and through, but I built the BOTW tree. It’s just more visually interesting and the better display piece overall. But I love that you can still build OOT Link’s little house as a side concession! If we do end up getting a clone knockoff, I’ll definitely be building the OOT tree and then with the extra pieces (and maybe some more via custom order) I’d love to attempt to expand the foliage on the OOT tree to give it a bigger canopy.

Definitely wouldn’t mind a second one to have the Ocarina version too. I’m really hoping they take the whole Lego Zelda thing and run wild with it. There’s so many possibilities. Maybe a Lego Ocarina, Majora’s mask, or king of red lions from WW. Once they started making Lego Mario sets, they just kept going so I’m keeping my fingers crossed on this one.

2025-01-14 23:08:44 +0000 UTCLMAO so does this mean if you genuinely care about something you give one of your fucks to someone? and yeah, tbh one of the few great things that COVID did was shut "thanksgiving black friday" sales the fuck down. I feel like everybody in the world except for corporate overloads deeply resented this practice and once COVID forced them not to do it we all kind of silently agreed that it was shit and that we shouldn't return to it also the favorite art can include anything, even if I didn't draw it this year LOL. Glad to know the Archives has a good use case for you though, trying to get better at being more consistent with them!

2025-01-14 23:08:17 +0000 UTCTHE LEGO DEKU TREE RULES SO HARD I used birthday money to get it, I've been dreaming of LoZ LEGO my whole life and I can't wait to see what they do next once that set hits the Chinese knockoff markets I'm going to look at getting a Deku Tree copycat set at a fraction of the price so I can make the second build without having to spend $300 again haha happy that you liked those artworks btw <3

The Cosy family vibes of Thanksgiving and Christmas are great and I really appreciate them. I think that I enjoy the gift giving aspect of Christmas but the food aspect of Thanksgiving is great 🤤 3 KAT FROM GRAVITY RUSH!

2025-01-03 20:01:22 +0000 UTC1. My favorite gift from this Christmas has definitely got to be the LEGO Deku Tree. It took me like 13-14 hours spanning across 3 days to finish it. 2. Thanksgiving and Christmas to me are probably the best because those are probably the only times that my family being together for something is guaranteed. 3. Very hard to decide for me, I really want to say the new Goth Purah but I'm also between Ryza and Aqua as well. Also, I hope your Christmas and New Years were awesome as well.

At least stores are waiting until black Friday to open nowadays. 3: not going to lie, I'm having trouble remembering exactly which is your new art this year. I pretty much only follow on patreon, and the archives posts include a lot of "new to me", so I'm left stymied. I'll cop out and say goth Zelda. First piece I've seen from you, you did some recolor stuff for it a couple months ago, I'll call it valid.

Thats hard. Maybe Thanksgiving/Christmas because those are the days that we get together as a family to celebrate. Oddly enough though I actually hate the season, I just like the days I get to be with family 3) I don't remember what was 2024 and what was earlier, but you know me and I love the goth girls. The first one, though, is I got the explorer's guide to Wildemount and a light-up infinity mirror in the shape of a dodecahedron which has different colors and light patterns to it! My favorite holiday is probably Halloween for the simple fact that for one day of the year, it's completely acceptable to wear *whatever you want* ANYWHERE you want. Break out that Ren Fest fit! Wear that dress or suit! No one will judge! It's great!
