그래도 인사는 나눠야 하지 않을까. 이웃이기도 하고. 신경 쓰이기도 하고..
가까이서 본 그 호랑이는 생각보다 덩치가 더욱 커 보였다. 가까이 다가가 조심스럽게 인사를 하였다
"안녕하세요."
그러자 호랑이는 눈이 크게 떠지며 놀란 눈치고 날 본 것 같았지만, 별일 아닌 듯 웃으면서 인사를 받아줬다.
"아 안녕하세요? 운동 시작하셨나 봐요?"
"아 네.. 몸이 되게 좋으시네요."
"하하 감사합니다. 운동하시다 모르시는 것 있으시면 물어보세요. 가르쳐드릴게요"
거대한 호랑이가 의외로 되게 친절하였다. 아니 내 몸을 보고 그저 귀여워 보였을까. 나는 멋쩍은 듯이 대답하였다.
"아. 다음번에 여쭤볼게요. 감사합니다."
"하하. 그럼 즐거운 운동 되세요."
"아 네.."
그렇게 옷을 마저 갈아입고 거대한 등을 보이며 그는 탈의실을 나갔다.
이제야 긴장이 풀린다. 생각보다 친근감이 느껴져서 놀랐지만 가까이서 본 호랑이는. 여러모로 압도적이었다.
Episode 5 - The First Greeting
But still, shouldn't we exchange greetings? Because we are neighbors. And I am concerned...
The tiger, seen up close, appeared even larger than he had imagined. Approaching cautiously, he greeted him.
"Hello."
The tiger's eyes widened in surprise as he looked at him, but he smiled and returned the greeting as if it were nothing.
"Oh, hello? Are you starting to exercise?"
"Yes, my body feels really good."
"Haha, thank you. If you have any questions while exercising, please ask me. I'll teach you."
The huge tiger was unexpectedly friendly. Or was he just cute to look at my body? I replied awkwardly.
"Oh, I'll ask you next time. Thank you."
"Haha, have a good workout."
"Yes..."
Finally, after changing clothes, he showed his huge back and left the locker room.
Now that the tension has eased, he was surprised to feel a sense of friendliness he didn't expect from the tiger seen up close. In many ways, the tiger was overwhelming.
