지난달 나는 회사에서 해고당한 뒤. 퇴직금을 가지고 전날 이 집으로 이사를 왔다.
그런데. 왜 헛것이 보이는 것일까. 아침에 늦게 일어나 운동을 나가던 나의 앞에 엄청난 크기의 호랑이를 보았다.
내가 잘못 본 것일까. 실직의 충격이 이렇게 큰 것일까. 나는 아무렇지 않게 운동을 나왔지만, 아직도 옆집에 들어가는 호랑이가 눈에 밟힌다.

I woke up late this morning and saw a very strong-looking tiger in front of me when I went out to exercise.
