Weekly Update 1

I thought a weekly status update on Fridays would be good to keep you all informed on what's been done this week and give some teasers where applicable ahead of any cut builds. As a reminder, my goal is to get ~2 chapter equivalents done each month and those will generally be around the 1st and the 15th of the month but will flex based on IRL commitments.

Chapter Progress

For this first weekly update, I got back from my road trip on Tuesday and after an R&R day on Wednesday I was able to get a decent chunk done for Chapter 4. I have approximately 500 lines written so far but have a long way to go before it's finished. So far you get introduced to a side character and one of the other dateable guys. After the scene I'm finishing then you'll get introduced to the final guy before heading over to Remington to figure out what type of mage you are!

I think Chapter 4 will be even longer than Chapter 3 once it's completed based on how it's going so far. 

After your time with Remington, you'll get to choose your main guy to pursue and spend some one-on-one time with them. So that'll be 6 different parts I need to write up to actually complete Chapter 4 fully.

Due to the length my target is to get Chapter 4 completed up to that point this weekend so I can cut a build and let you guys try it out. I'll then start working on the guy-specific content.

Oh! And I also updated Bok's sprites to my v2. I still am finding my 'style' and lean heavily on references but I didn't like the original Bok. The newer version is a bit cleaner and also I think more mature, subjectively. Hopefully you like him :)

Book of Regerts

Big thank you to MukjzK on twitter for sending some peer review on my typos. I originally didn't have any spellcheck option within my software which caused some uh-ohs. I think I got that worked out but there will definitely be additional uh-ohs in the future. 

Absolutely no pressure, but if you do find a grammar or spelling mistake and want to pass it along to me, I created a public Google Doc to track those below. With every other build I'll go through that and clean up any mistakes as I go.
