A belated progress report.

Oh shit lol, I didn't realize I hadn't posted an update in a whole month.

Uh... the start of October was a bit rough for me for a whole host of reasons, but I've more than picked up steam since.

I'm pretty sure I'm missing a few days here and there because I made this with a quick Discord search for my timestamps instead of adding to this at the end of each workday (for instance, I know I never made my timestamps when I was making the current CG's design document and that was over 8 hours), but this is a good sign of me being able to reach those long sessions of work without sacrificing my health, giving myself tunnel vision, or not having a life besides working.

As for what that work has been, it's been heavily reworking another CG from how TiltSHIFT delivered it to me:

Yeah, it's a stark improvement. The background went from good to great (with lots of additions and changes to it for it to more clearly match the pool background I use when the sprites are out), Zoey looks amazing, and Keisuke... still looks a bit jank, but I did as much as I could given that I only use a mouse and keyboard and saying "I can't draw" is an understatement.

In-engine, the area below the waterline has this nice subtle wave animation underneath the textbox. It's not distracting, but it's there if you look.

I know it's been taking forever, but there was a reason I polled the Patrons over what this update was going to be about and how this choice meant that update would be late, but the good news is that outside of editing 2 more Keisuke poses (and exporting everything to a lot of PNGs), the art is 100% done.
