February is the shortest month of the year, yet we managed to get a lot of work done.
I think it's safe to say we're even slightly ahead of our quarterly schedule, and that's great news.
Here's the debriefing of the work we got done in February:
- Added logic that controls chibi skeletons. it's different from big dolls because those have no animations;
- Added enemies and logic for them;
- Debugging of all the animations;
- Improved Spine runtime to clean-up key frames we don't need;
- Started to work on the battle engine (BE). This includes:
-2D mesh grid controlling combat, that players can interact with it (check video above);
-Full support for characters animations within the BE;
-Spawning of enemies and allies;
-Complex pathfinding (check video above);
