I had a section about the Túpac Amaru Rebellion in the first draft of this episode, but I wound up having to cut it for time. I will try to talk about it a bit next episode, but we'll see.

Although I must comment that the Tupac Amaru the 2nd resistance to the Spanish is also an important precedent to the "Criollos" independent movements. Unfortunately the latter were the winners and ended up declaring Republics that discriminated and taxed the indigenous population as well as continuing with slavery of for many more years.
