The Deadlock boys have said this before but this level of shitty audio quality that ROH tapped into at this time is legendary. The constantly peaking mic cannot be replicated or duplicated. It brings a weird charm to this era that I absolutely love. This is an amazing match, despite Morishima not selling all that well (spoiler alert: for all his matches, he was never a good seller). Danielson was unbelievable at this time; he was fantastic in any role you asked him to play, and as a vengeful babyface, he was incredible here. Morishima plays his role as an unstoppable monster to a tee, so there's something about the monstrous like no selling, that adds to the brutal nature that he wrestles with. His offense always looks like it hurts a lot, and it adds to the fire that this match started out with and never fans out of. Love this match, top-tier Danielson match and probably Morishima's best match of his career.
