And yeah, this ep was just an excuse for the writers to bring back Flutterguy, to the extent the production title for it was just "The Return of Flutterguy" Sadly not voiced by Blu Mankuma this time, as he was sick at the time. Then we have Pinkie Pie and..... yeh Pinkie was, a bit extra even for Pinkie in this one, which given this is an Amy Keating Rogers ep, isn't that surprising, as she does tend to write Pinkie as more oblivious to how her words and actions impact others then most writers, while keeping the heart because, for all she went about it in the worst way, what she was trying to say wasn't wrong. Oh and as to the whole "Does AJ hate cats?" Well one, she does have a dog, but that look was less about cats in general and more Aunt Goldie Delicious being at a pet adoption event, given she's already a crazy cat lady with way more cats in her cottage then anyone can actually take care of. We also have the final title for this, which is a great pun if you were around in the 90's. There was a really famous and successful singer team called Milli Vanilli, who's entire career went up in smokes overnight when a glitch at a concert revealed the two had been lip syncing the whole time. But yeah, we get Fluttershy being adorable, Flutterguy, Zecora, one of the best "Oh yeah they are siblings" interactions between AJ and Big Mac ever (you know that is how like 80% of their conversations go) Maybe would have been nice to get more then one song done over and over, but it still works, and we get to see the evolution of Flutteshy ad libbing as she got more and more into it. Yeah, this was an amazing episode!
