I watch this two days ago and it was so good that everything still stuck in my head til now, I was spending two days trying to solve the puzzle and figured things out I have to rewatched it so many times that I lost the count I don't know if my theory and my conclusion gonna be correct but it was as much close that I feel like everything is click and fitting the timeline Everything in the movie is masterpiece I recognize a lot of reference and I love it so much I love how you can create this story and movie out of characters of fps game it was so astonishing really of how creative you guys are Not to mention the light, art, composition and a lot more thing It was worth the wait of 6years(If I'm not wrong you've mentioned in discord you've been making this for 6years) it was worth the wait and it shows that you're truly pay attention to every details Thankyou for making this movie , seriously it's gonna be my 1st favorite sfm ever :)

First, thank you so much for making such a masterpiece exist! I could never take my eyes off until the very end of the movie, Bravo! An ominous atmosphere was throughout there, and creepy suggestions dampened my back like a night fog; It was a novel, enjoyable experience I rarely get anywhere else! The narrative was more veiled than exposed, leaving me with a lot to think about. English's not my first language, so I had to think about what messages a scene tried to imply and what characters "actually" said in that scene! (Google Translate's always there to save my skinny ass, fortunately XD) I admit it's tough for me to fully understand Emesis Blue, and I'm still unsure if my interpretation of its story's correct. But I'm pretty sure there're pleasures of realizing hints I couldn't take before by rewatching. And rewatching Emesis Blue, again and again, will be one of my greatest pleasures, all thanks to you! I've told my friends not to miss the upcoming YouTube premiere. We're going to have a cheerful little discussion after they enjoy it. I'm happy to have dear friends with the same interest and talented creators who work with genuine passions. Or, in a word: Nicely done, Fortress Films!

The film is designed like a puzzle. It's a mystery that is largely unsolved since the scariest kind of horror is the unknown. Watch it as many times as you like. You're encouraged to come to your own conclusions. Also, all listed patrons have the first letter of their names capitalized, not just yours. It's a typography choice that just looks tidier for the screen. Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.

You know, I'll be that one guy: there's two things holding me from saying it's perfect: 1) Some events seems too convenient to happen to characters (the bridge, like those goons in the end, there's no reason for them to appear), some events feels disconnected and some feels like they're lead to nowhere story-wise (like why is the boy so important, what role Ludwig is playing here, what Valium here for, motivation for some characters (at least for those who're look sane), but I have to admit I need to see it for the second time to review such moments, maybe it's just me and a beer); 2) You wrote my nickname from capital letter :( This is a solid indie thriller kino, was pleasant to notice how your guys quality and attention to details was growing scene by scene. Love occasional experiments with audio and effects, and the list of voiced character? Fuck, this is the shit to live for.

I will try to keep my comment spoiler-free for those who still haven't seen the movie yet: After loving Spy's disguise for its quality and its combat sequences, i was pretty hyped when i first saw the first teaser of Emesis Blue that presented himself as a Psychological-horror movie. After maybe 3 year of following the project (because i think i joined the discord 3 years ago but maybe i'm wrong) and looking at the different glimpses the crew gave us of the movie, i was certain that Emesis Blue would be great. And after finally being able to view the movie in exclusivety, i can safely say that Emesis Blue exceeded my expactations. Where do i even begin? There's so much things to say about the movie. I'll start with the lightning and effects of the movie. Anton Pellizzari(who is responsible of the lightning and visual effects) truly gave us lighting and effects that, i think, can put to shame some movies made by big studio today. It's just goes perfectly with the very dark and eerie ambience of the scenes. Also big props for Darstard(ly) for his particles effects. The animation is on point, very subtle facial expressions the characters makes are really believable, a lot of work must have gone into this and we can see it. Thank you to Chad Payne. Finally, about the story and its characters which will be the last part i will talk about the movie. If you truly love movie plots that answers some of you questions while also opening other questions, this movie is made for you because in the end we know a lot of things and at the same time there are still lots who remains in mystery and i really love that, to engage the spectators into a game of trying to connecting the dots to have a personal explanation on what's going on, why and where. I just love it, plus i think that if i watch the movie a second time, some details,i overviewed in my first watch, will become more apparent. I also liked that the characters has a "base" of personnality that is the personnality they have in TF2 while also having new layers about them that makes them unique and original compared to other SFM movies that would just keep the same personnality (which isn't a a bad thing). This review is getting too long, so i will conclude by saying that Emesis blue is,hands down, the best SFM movie i have seen yet due to its quality, animation, story, lightning etc. But also maybe one of my favourite animations movie i have seen, in all honesty. I would like the movie to be seen by a larger public other than the sfm community because it is a real work of art and we can clearly see that the 4 years of hard work really paid off. I want to thanks all the persons that i have not mentioned in this review and congratulate the Film crew for their work. I'm truly honored to have my name appeared on the credits of your movie and i will continue to witness the progress of your work in the future. Thank you so much. ps: i'm sorry if i have made a few typos on my review Dx

It's the same account - it's okay though, I don't mind waiting :)

I watched this movie last night and to say it was incredible would be a serious understatement, it was beyond amazing.

Nopester

Everything is amazing to the minute detail. Here and there i still have slight questions about the story, but maybe i'll have to watch it a second time to answer those. Amazing work team!

I remember seeing the trailers for Spy's Disguise, being hyped, and watching it in the middle of the night the day it released. Now we're here for the Patreon viewing, and Emesis Blue left me stunned. This is genuinely a must-watch for any TF2 SFM viewing. You guys genuinely blew it out of the water with the years of effort that went into this. Thanks for producing some of the highest quality SFMs out there, and I do hope there is more to come, even if it takes several more years.

After having seen it, I'm speechless, and at the same time I have too much to say. I'll save specific thoughts for the public release, but I have to say that in the past I've considered Spy's Disguise to be my favorite SFM movie and a standout in quality and production value, yet this blows it out of the water. Realistic animation, a surreal, mind-bending atmosphere, a truly cinematic experience... superb voice acting, characters with depth, haunting imagery... the list goes on. I really wasn't sure what to expect going into Emesis Blue, but it ended up being beyond incredible, a movie with a soul.

Anyar
