Festive A(e)MA - Free for All!

SURPRISE!

We managed to get a New Year's game released! For those who have early access tiers, you can listen to Turkiamat today! As is New Year's tradition, the story is GM'd by Arch and played by Blighthouse residents Casey, Eyþór, Kessir and Volly, with some hilarious editing from Neil. We didn't know if we would get it recorded and edited in time (hence why it wasn't in the last schedule), but thankfully, some how, we did!

For non early accessers and ad freers, it'll come to the feeds Dec 31st.

There's a fair few updates this month, which is nice, so strap in:

🥳😭 TLD Finale Recorded 😭 🥳

As mentioned in the last update post, we were recording the TLD finale last month, and bitter sweetly we can say that it's been recorded. All the sacrifices our team made to see this through to the end was absolutely worth it - I'm so proud of my players. They were incredible. It was an awesome end to an 8 year campaign for us.

BUT for listeners, the journey won't end until the middle of 2027! Which would make it a nearly 10 year journey for y'all. Neil and I will of course be editing between here and then, so it isn't really over for us exactly, but it really felt like it was an epic end to an epic story. There were tears and a lot of creative mourning happened.

Also, Volly & Eyþór recorded the finale episodes, for Dark Dice. It was a very sad month for them.

🔮 So what's next for TLD crew and Blighthouse Team? 🔮

Actual Play wise - there's Kino to wrap up, so that's up next for us to record, and hopefully will be back in your ears soon. Once that's over, back to recording Sprouting and, IF WE CAN MAKE IT WORK* (scheduling and story dependant of course), story 2 for TLD at the same time.

Counterbalance is coming along nicely, with S3 coming out in Jan for $10 patreons and Feb for everyone else. Four Top Threes continues to move along, and creative sell out season continues with a great special guest episode (it was Arch, I can't hold it in anymore, it was awesome).

We have two other projects in the works as well, and we'll update you when we're a little closer to hitting record!

🌐 We're moving Networks! 🌐

We're now a part of Fable & Folly, who are wonderful creators, and know our ttrpg actual niche of podcasting. F&F seemed like such a natural fit with us - they know the niche, Sean & Russ have been on TLD (Reckless Plays) and we are friends with a lot of the creators in Fable & Folly. For listeners, and ad free Patreons, you probably won't notice any change, but it should help us take a step forward when it comes to marketing ourselves and getting ourselves a little more finanically balanced.

Volonda has been recording late night again (will I never learn form my mistakes?) with an Australian call of cthulthu podcast called The Fumbled Anthology. They're recording a self contained story called The Burning Stars, set in Australia and someone has gone missing. It's been a blast to record - and we're not done recording yet - and totally worth a few nights lost sleep. It will be out Soon(tm).

❓ TLD Live A(e)MA - 2 Years Ago ❓

The TLD in person A(e)MA we did when the TLD crew was here in Iceland, we finally managed to edit it. We split it into 2 episodes since it was about 4.5 hours long, and they'll be appearing in your feeds a month after Turkiamat! and oops, we lost the video aspect after a couple of PC rebuilds, sorry about that.

Unlike our monthly A(e)MAs, you do not need to be a Patron - it's open to everyone! Feel free to come along and join in the festivities, ask your questions and participate in the various giveaways.
